Bellevue, Ohio - 19 year old Cap Henry just completed a very successful rookie year in the 410 sprint cars in an area of the country that is known for some of the best sprint car racing in the United States. He finished with 3 Rookie Of The Year Titles, at Attica Raceway Park, Attica, Ohio, Fremont Speedway, Fremont, Ohio and the F.A.S.T. Championship, (Fremont Attica Sprint Title), further he finished top 10 in all three points battles with a 6th at Attica, an 8th at Fremont, and an 8th in the F.A.S.T. Championship, along with this he helped Team CHR/Henry Motorsports to garner a 9th place in the owners points.
You would think this would be enough for most drivers for a years racing though not for this young man, on October 12, he heads for Toowomba, Australia to extend his racing season racing for the Butler Brothers for approximately 6 to 8 more races over the course of 2 months time. After that he returns to the United States in time to reunite with his team here to begin the 2010 season at the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals in Tulsa , Oklahoma, January 10th - 16th 2010.
